Good vibes.
Good boundaries.
A few clear rules for inviting and using Neon ⍀. Please give them a read before adding the bot to your server.
The short version
Use Neon responsibly, follow Discord’s rules, and only invite or configure the bot where you have permission. Features are offered as available and can change. The legal details below matter too, so please read them.
Agreement & permission
These terms apply when you invite, access, or use the Neon Discord bot. By doing so, you agree to these terms and to follow Discord’s applicable terms, policies, and community guidelines. If you do not agree, do not use Neon.
You must have the authority required by Discord and your server to invite, authorize, configure, or manage the bot. A server administrator is responsible for selecting permissions appropriate for that server.
Use Neon fairly
You may not use Neon to break applicable laws, harass or harm others, infringe rights, bypass Discord safeguards, disrupt the bot or its infrastructure, or seek unauthorized access to accounts, services, or data. Do not use the bot in ways that violate Discord’s rules or the rights of other people.
The bot operator may limit or suspend access where reasonably necessary to respond to suspected abuse, protect users or services, or comply with legal requirements.
Your server & your choices
Server owners and administrators are responsible for their server’s roles, channels, bot permissions, settings, and moderation decisions. Check bot permissions before enabling a feature, and configure it in a way that suits your community. Neon does not make moderation decisions on behalf of server administrators.
Availability & changes
Neon is provided on an as-available basis. Features may be updated, limited, paused, or discontinued, and interruptions may occur. The bot operator does not promise continuous availability, error-free operation, or that a feature will always behave in a particular way.
Discord, GitHub & third-party services
Neon operates through Discord and may rely on third-party music, hosting, or infrastructure services. The separate profile page uses Lanyard’s and GitHub’s public APIs to display the creator’s public profiles and account information. Those services have their own terms and privacy policies. The Neon bot operator does not control and is not responsible for the availability, content, or policies of independent third-party services.
Disclaimers & liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Neon is provided without warranties, whether express, implied, or statutory. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits a responsibility or right that cannot legally be excluded or limited. Where the law permits, the bot operator is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of, or inability to use, the bot.
Changes to these terms
These terms may be revised as Neon or its features change. The date at the top shows when this page was last updated. If you continue using the bot after revised terms are published, the revised terms apply to future use. If you do not agree with an update, stop using Neon and remove it from your server.
Thanks for helping keep Discord communities welcoming.
